The Royal
Family of Guitar...Los Romeros ... graced the stage
of the Cailloux Theater for two sold-out
performances. No one in the audience was better
prepared for this fine evening than the guitar
students of local instructor Kevin McCormick. The
students attended a master class by Dr. Nicholas
Ciraldo, Professor of Guitar at The University of
Southern Mississippi for a two-hour informative
session on the classical guitar.
Dr. Ciraldo works with students on
selections prepared for the pre-concert
lobby music at the Romeros concerts.
Kevin
McCormick’s (Mirabilis Studios) fine work with local
students culminates
with a few moments with the artists, Lito, Celino,
Celin and Pepe Romeros.
The Kerrville
Performing Arts Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization,
supported financially through season subscriptions, grants, and
donations,
bringing a world of superb performing arts to the Texas
Hill Country, providing outreach programs for the youth of the
community,
and offering scholarships to the future generation of
performing artists.
