MUSIC WIND ENSEMBLE, under the direction
of Tom Bennett, sat side-by-side with Tivy
High School Symphonic Band members for a
two-hour rehearsal.

– Charles Villarubia, head of Chamber Music
Studies at The University of Texas, provided
a workshop for the Peterson Middle School
Band Students in preparation for their
attendance at THE CANADIAN BRASS
performance. A brass quintet from Tivy
High School, coached by Mr. Villarubia,
worked on various elements and essentials of
ensemble playing for the middle school
