Student Outreach
Presentation
Flat Stanley
February 27, 2009
KPAS presented THE MUSICAL
ADVENTURES OF FLAT STANLEY as a separate children's
event...in addition to their 6-concert series.
Introducing children to the performing arts through
a broadway production is one of the many facets of
the Kerrville Performing Arts Society. Stanley
Lambchop becomes “flat” when a bulletin board falls
on him. This allows FLAT STANLEY to travel to
world-wide destinations at the cost of one postage
stamp. Flat Stanley is a well-know children’s series
that has worked its way into several curriculums,
including geography, and is an educational
experience for children when they personally send a
Flat Stanley cut-out to travel the world.
KPAS provided over 1,600 students
the
opportunity to attend
THE MUSICAL ADVENTURES
OF FLAT STANLEY
at the Cailloux Theater
