The ultimate LIVE experience ... THE YAMATO DRUMMERS!

The ultimate LIVE experience...THE YAMATO DRUMMERS!

Community outreach is an integral part of the Kerrville Performing Arts Society. KPAS arranges for visiting guest artists to provide opportunities for the community through master classes, demonstrations, pre-concert performances, and live performances. Through the generous donations of Season Ticket Subscribers, Sponsors, Donors and Advertisers, KPAS is offering programs to over 4,500 students during the 2009-2010 season.

Outreach programs are available on a first-come first-served basis, with group reservations being made through the local organization only. Reservations are not accepted on an individual basis. These opportunities are FREE to the local youth based on availability at the time of the group request. All requests and inquires should be directed to info@kpas.org.

For the 2009-2010 Season, KPAS will be offering community outreach opportunities for The 5th Annual Nutcracker in the Hills (San Diego Ballet), The Yamato Drummers, Ballet Folklorico de Mexico, Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet, Frog and Toad, and American Big Band Show ... details.

Pre-concert lobby performances are also provided by local students. This past season allowed the community to enjoy the musical talents of Hill Country Youth Orchestras, Tivy High School Drumline, Peterson Middle School Band Students, Guitar Students of Kevin McCormick’s, Starkey Elementary School Choir, and Schreiner University Choral Ensembles.

These unmatchable outreach opportunities have benefited the following organizations:

Kerrville ISD (Tally Elementary, Starkey Elementary, Daniels Elementary, Nimitz Elementary, BT Wilson, Peterson Middle School and Tivy High School), Kerrville ISD Mentoring Program, Hill Country Youth Orchestras, Ambleside, Ballet San Antonio, Bandera ISD, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Boerne Area Christian Homeschoolers, Dance Dominion, Dance Studio of Peggy Anne & CeCe Jean’s, Dietert Center, Divide ISD, Doyle Community Center, Fredericksburg Christian, Fredericksburg Youth Ballet Company housed at Ms. Rhonda’s School of Dance, Geneva School of Berne, Grace Christian, Harper ISD, Heritage School, Hill Country Adventist School, Hill Country Home School Association, Hill Country Youth Ranch, Hunt ISD, Impact Christian Academy, Ingram ISD (Ingram High School, Ingram Middle School, Ingram Elementary School), K-Star, Kerrville Home School Association, Kerrville School of Dance, Medina Children’s Home, Mirabilis Studio, Notre Dame, Our Lady of the Hills Regional Catholic School, Youth Wi-red.
