About KPAS

The Mission of the Kerrville Performing Arts Society is to promote and present professional performing artists, to provide outreach workshops to community schools and organizations, and to offer scholarship aid to area students pursuing higher education in the performing arts.

KPAS...connecting the arts to the community by educating tomorrow's audiences...today

 
  • For 27 seasons, have provided world-class performing arts series to the Texas Hill country!
  • For 27 seasons, have provided unmatchable outreach programs for the youth of our community!
  • For 27 seasons, have provided scholarships to future generations of performing artists!
  • Recognized by the Kerrville Chamber of Commerce for their commitment to the community as “The Outstanding Non-Profit Organization of the Year” (2001)
  • KPAS provided funding for the first Suzuki String program in Kerrville which eventually led to the formation of the Hill Country Youth Orchestras
  • Recipient of numerous grants from Mid-America Arts Alliance, The National Endowment for the Arts, The Texas Commission on the Arts, The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and The City of Kerrville
  • Incorporated in 1984, original Board Members assured the newly formed KPAS budget with personal bank notes.

bringing a world of superb performing arts to the Texas Hill Country, providing outreach programs for the youth of the community,
