For the 25th
Season, KPAS will be offering two performances by
every artist!
Recognized
by the
Kerrville Chamber of Commerce for their
commitment to the community as “The Outstanding
Non-Profit Organization of the Year” (2001)
KPAS
provided funding for the first Suzuki String program
in Kerrville which eventually led to the formation
of the
Hill Country Youth Orchestras
Recipient
of numerous
grants from Mid-America Arts Alliance,
The National Endowment for the Arts, The Texas
Commission on the Arts, The Community Foundation of
the Texas Hill Country and The City of Kerrville
Incorporated in 1984, original Board Members assured
the newly formed KPAS budget with personal bank
notes.
Attendance
demands require increased numbers of
performances…from 6 annual performances in 1984…to
15 scheduled performances for the Silver Anniversary
season!
The Kerrville
Performing Arts Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization,
supported financially through season subscriptions, grants, and
donations,
bringing a world of superb performing arts to the Texas
Hill Country, providing outreach programs for the youth of the
community,
and offering scholarships to the future generation of
performing artists.
